Last February Josh Gordon was suspended for failing a drug test. Earlier this year he applied to be reinstated into the league. In the 2013 season Gordon led the league in receiving yards with 1646 in only 14 games. He has not been able to stay out of trouble though to make it back in the league. With multiple failed drug and alcohol tests plus a DUI Josh still hopped to be back in the league. On Monday the 11 Josh Gordon failed yet another drug test where he tested positive for marijuana. Also it has been noted that Josh Gordon will be living with Johnny Manziel in Sunset Boulevard. Manziel who had a partying problem when he played for the Cleveland Browns was also in and our of rehab for his problem. This doesn't look like the best move for Gordon if he wants to be reinstated in the league, but only time will tell what is next for wide receiver.
This seems to show that there is a problem with Cleveland athletes. Although this is a problem everywhere, what is Cleveland doing to fix this? Athletes definitely need more punishment. Nothing seems to working. Why is athlete deviance so high?
ReplyDeleteI think people should stop even paying attention to Josh Gordon. Clearly he isn't serious about being a professional athlete given he keeps repeatedly failing tests. The same goes for Martavis Bryant. These are 2 guys that only care about getting high
ReplyDeleteThis is the problem with social media, because no matter what Josh Gordon does he is constantly being watched no matter what he does. Josh needs to own up to the mistake he made in the past though.
